After announcing a brand new line called Seleccion Oscuro that will be unveiled at the IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, E.P. Carrillo has announced a number of new sizes for the New Wave Reserva and Cabinet by E.P. Carrillo lines. The New Wave Reserva line gets four new sizes, all of which will come in 24-count boxes: Corona Extra (5 1/2 x 44, MSRP $6.25 per stick, $150 per box), Elegantes (6 7/8 x 49, $7.75, $186), Belicoso D’Oro (5 3/4 x 52, $7.50, $180) and Soberanos Real (7 1/4 x 54, $8.50, $204). The cigar uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over Connecticut broadleaf binder and a filler blend from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic to create a medium-bodied profile. It was originally released to the European market before coming to the U.S. last fall and debuted in four sizes: a robusto (5 x 50), toro (6 x 52), Supremo (5 1/8 x 56) and Inmensos (6 x 60) The Cabinet by E.P.
