Three days after announcing Guild, Crux Cigars has released details on a second new blend. The Crux du Connoisseur is a new regular production release will be available in three different vitolas at launch, all of which are being sold in boxes of 10: the Crux du Connoisseur #1 (5 5/8 x 35, $7.50), the the Crux du Connoisseur #2 (6 1/2 x 38, $8.99) and the the Crux du Connoisseur #3 (7 1/2 x 38, $9.99). Blend-wise, the du Connoisseur incorporates Honduran tobacco in the filler, a Nicaraguan binder and is covered in a Nicaraguan habano wrapper from Jalapa. Like the Crux Guild and all of the rest of the Crux releases so far, the du Connoisseur line is being rolled at Plasencia Cigars S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua. According to a press release, Crux du Connoisseur will be one of three different lines that Crux Cigars will be releasing before the end of the year, and will be available starting in September. Company officials declined to comment about details on the final remaining blend.
