The most radical-looking humidor of recent memory is back for another year. Colibri has announced that the Quasar humidor, a collaboration with Daniel Marshall, will return for 2015, this time in three different versions. The New York-based accessory company and the California-based humidor maker collaborated for the first Quasar last year, a modern-looking hobnail pattern based on the Colibri Molectric lighter from the 1960s. Now, the Quasar is back, but in different form. A larger Quasar is being made in matte black. The 16-inch unit has estimated capacity of 150-175 cigars. It will be limited to 200 units with an MSRP of $1,995. Like the original release it features Daniel Marshall’s self-regulating humidity system and two dividers. In addition, two 12-inch models will be offered this year: metallic black and matte red.
