Gran Habano has released the fourth installment in its Gran Reserva line, the Gran Reserva #5 2011. The company announced the cigar in mid-February and today informed customers and media that the cigar is now available. The company calls it a “bold new experience in full-bodied premium cigars,” with all Nicaraguan tobacco used for the blend. It’s heralded as being a remarkably smooth, earthy and spicy smoke that also has notes of sweet wood and espresso. It comes in five sizes, Corona Gorda (5 5/8 x 46), Gran Robusto (6 x 54), Imperial (6 x 60), CZAR (6 x 66) and Grandioso (7 x 70). Each will be available in ten-count boxes with single stick pricing between $7.50 and $10. Production handled at the company’s G.R. Tabacaleras Unidas, S.A. factory in Honduras.
