For the 14th year of Liberty, Camacho is heading to Nicaragua. The company has announced that for the first time, its annual summer limited edition will be made entirely of Nicaraguan tobacco. While that might be a fairly major change, much of the rest sounds familiar. It will once again be offered in the company’s signature 8/11 perfecto size (6 x 48/54/48), once again packed in individually-numbered coffins sold in boxes of 20 and once again limited to 40,000 total cigars. This year’s liberty prominently features the historic Liberty Bell on the boxes, coffins and bands. Pricing is set at $18 per cigar, or $360 per box. Camacho is distributed by Davidoff of Geneva USA. Its cigars are produced at Agroindustria LAEPE S.A. in Danlí, Honduras. The Camacho Liberty 2015 began shipping today.
