Earlier this year, Maya Selva Cigars announced that it would be creating  6 x 52 version of its Flor de Selva line, with a scheduled release date at the 2015 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show. Now the company has announced that it will come in two varieties, Connecticut and Maduro. The company originally announced the Connecticut line, which uses a Honduran-grown Connecticut-seed wrapper with Honduran binder and fillers including viso from Tojes and ligero from Jamastra. That cigar will retail for $10. In addition, the company will release the Flor de Selva Maduro Toro, which uses a Honduran habano wrapper over a Brazilian mata fina binder and Honduran fillers. It will retail for $10.50. “Due to overwhelming demand from retailers nationwide, we have decided to add the Toro vitola to our U.S. portfolio,” said Gabriel Alvarez, the company’s U.S. director of sales, in a press release. “It is something that we feel adds immense value to our collection, and greatly helps consolidate our continued growth and success in this market.” The 2015 IPCPR Trade Show & Convention begins July 17 in New Orleans, La.
