Warped Cigars has a new line in store for this year’s IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, one that will both add and delete vitolas at future shows. Corto is being called the company’s strongest cigar to date in an announcement sent to halfwheel by Kyle Gellis, who added that it isn’t a spice bomb but is a balanced offering of multiple spices and a rich complexity that promises to keep the smoker engaged throughout the entire experience. It is a Nicaraguan puro made at the TABSA factory in Nicaragua. The first size in the line is the X50, a 4 1/2 x 50 short robusto with a slight box press that is being released in 25-count cabinets. Gellis said that a new vitola will be released at subsequent IPCPR trade shows, with the previous vitola being retired. While a current vitola is active, it will be a regular production size with no hard limit as to how many will be produced. Pricing, artwork and pictures of the new line are not being released at this point.
