Espinosa’s Laranja Line Adding Box Pressed Caixa at IPCPR

One year after unveiling the Laranja Reserva line, Espinosa Premium Cigars will be adding a fourth vitola at this year’s trade show, the box pressed 6 1/2 x 48 Caixa. Pronounced ky-sha, the word means box in Portuguese, and it’s the first box pressed vitola in the line and the first to get a unique name, as the line debuted with a Corona Gorda (5 5/8 x 46, $9.90), Robusto Extra (5 1/2 x 54, $10.50) and Toro (6 x 52, $10.90). As such, it will wear a secondary band denoting the Caixa name in a similar design as the primary band, meaning an orange color scheme as laranja is Portuguese for orange. It features the same blend of a Brazilian wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler and will also come in 20-count boxes.
