Cuban Stock Cigars has partnered with the administrators of the Reddit group r/cigars to create a limited edition cigar for the online community. According to an announcement made yesterday in the r/cigars group, the cigar consists of 10-year aged Dominican tobacco rolled in a 5 1/2 x 44 corona vitola. Each cigar is wrapped in cedar and packaged in 10-count bundles, with each bundle selling for $50 exclusively through SJCigars.com, which is located in Philadelphia. Two hundred bundles are being made for a total production of 2,000 cigars, with the first batch of 100 bundles due to arrive today. The remaining 100 bundles are slated to arrive in the coming weeks from the company’s factory in Santiago, Dominican Republic. As part of the project, Cuban Stock turned to the r/cigars community for the design of the packaging, holding a contest in March to create the logo that would be used, with the winner receiving two bundles of cigars. The winning design was submitted by the user /u/guererlla.
