The small southern Nebraska town of Hebron is making its parks tobacco free, a move that includes the entirety of the areas including parking lots and lumps electronic smoking and vaping devices in to the ban. The ban was adopted at the town council’s April meeting and goes into effect immediately. Violators will be subject to verbal warnings and possible ejection from a park if they choose not to cease using the prohibited items, according to the Hebron Journal Register. The city has yet to post the ban on its website. Hebron is home to an estimated 1,561 residents as of 2013 census estimates, and is located approximately 150 miles southwest of Omaha.
