Porthole by La Sirena Planned for May Release

La Sirena Cigars has announced a new line that is scheduled to be on shelves by the end of May, a wallet-friendly offering called Porthole by La Sirena. Made at Erik Espinosa’s La Zona factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, the Porthole by La Sirena line will be limited in production and made up three cigars in a pair of blends. The first blend uses a Ecuadorian habano oscuro wrapper with Nicaraguan binder and filler and will be released in two sizes: a 6 x 58 with an MSRP of $6.90 and a 5 x 44 corona with an MSRP of $6.30. Only 10,000 cigars will be produced in the larger size, with just 5,000 in the smaller vitola. The third cigar uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper on top of Nicaraguan binder and filler and will be released in a single 6 x 50 toro vitola with an MSRP of $6.60, with production limited to 5,000 cigars as well. All three sizes will come in 25-count boxes, and have been resting at La Zona for approximately six months as the packaging materials are being finalized.
