Legacy Brands has shipped a brand new line under the Tortuga 215 line which incorporates a totally new blend. The Tortuga 215 Reserva Connecticut was introduced at the 2014 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show and is composed of an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper covering binder and filler tobaccos from Nicaragua. The line is available in three different vitolas, all of which are sold in boxes of 30: the 5 x 52 Suave ($7.96), the 6 x 54 Elegante ($8.26) and the 7 1/2 x 56 Regio ($8.88). The new cigars rolled at the Tabacalera Aguilar factory in Honduras. The Connecticut joins three other lines under the Tortuga 215 Reserva brand, which takes its name from the zip code of owner Victor Vitale’s native Philadelphia: the original 215 Reserva, the Cedro Series and the El Coyote Negro line. All three vitolas in the Tortuga 215 Reserva Connecticut shipped to retailers on March 2, along with a new size in the El Coyote Negro line, the No. 700, which measures 7 x 60.
