There’s a new Oliva Serie V coming out this month, but you will likely going to need to be near a golf course or a casino to find it. The Oliva Serie V Toro Special Limited Edition, 6 x 50, will be the 38th different cigar to wear the Serie V band, but it won’t be sold at traditional retailers. Instead, the cigar will be an exclusive for Minnesota-based CertiFresh Cigar, a company that specializes in selling packaged single cigar, or pair of a cigars, with a Boveda. CertiFresh claims to serve 2,400 private, public and resort golf courses, as well as casino resorts. The cigars are packaged in plastic tubes with a 69 percent Boveda pack included, which allows the golf course or resort to offer the cigars without having to worry about humidor maintenance. The Oliva Serie V Toro Special Limited Edition is limited to 25,000 individually-numbered tubes containing one cigar and a suggested retail price of $14.95. The company expects to begin shipping the cigar on March 25 and has indicated that courses will be limited to just 40 cigars per account.
