At last year’s IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, Viva Republica showed off a few new products, a few prototypes and talked about a variety of ideas. One of them was the Viva Republica Edición Limitada Culebra. Viva Republica’s Jason Holly told halfwheel that the Edición Limitada Culebra would be limited to 1,000 units, priced affordably and would ship in September. The lattermost claim didn’t come true, but now the cigar is ready to be released. The official launch will be this Saturday at Tobaccology in Manassas, Va. as part of the DC Cigar Tweetup 2014. It measures 5 3/4 x 39. Like all culebras, it is made up of three different cigars that are twisted together. In this particular case, there are actually three different blends. One is the Rapture, the other Rapture Maduro and the final piece a Guerrilla Warfare. “I’ve always been intrigued by and have enjoyed culebras and wanted to use creating one as an opportunity to feature three of our core lines,” said Holly in a press release.
