Two weeks ago, Robert Caldwell announced that the project formerly known as Impromptu was no longer Impromptu, rather Bellatto/Caldwell/Sears, or BCS. That name won’t see its month birthday, as now Caldwell has announced the project is known as Lost&Found. Caldwell also clarified that Tony Bellatto will head the project and its distribution, which is targeted at smaller online cigar retailers. He also reiterated the point of the project. Caldwell finds cigars that were previously rolled, but not released for one reason or another. The cigars are brought over to the U.S. where they are packaged in designs by Jaclyn Sears and then distributed under the direction of Bellatto. Caldwell’s full letter is as follows: I wanted to take the time to explain Bellatto/Caldwell/Sears (Formally Impromptu). A lot of people don’t quite understand what it is, how it works, or its’ purpose. We explained it a year ago, but no one was listening then.
