There’s a new release coming from Altadis U.S.A. this spring, as the company says they have come across a batch of cigars tucked away in the depths of the company’s cedar room that are now ready to be released to the public. The Trinidad Lost Blends will be heading to stores in late March or early April, with a blend of a Java Island shade grown wrapper, a Dominican Olor binder, and a filler blend of Dominican Olor, Dominican Piloto and Connecticut broadleaf tobaccos. A press release issued by the company describes the blend as rich and powerful, with notes of sweet spice, roasted nuts, rich tobacco and decadent caramel that recall the original blend that made the Trinidad name known across the world. The cigars are being released in two vitolas, a 6 1/8 x 54 belicoso and 5 3/4 x 52 Salomon. The company has not yet announced pricing. Each size is packed in a rustic-looking 50-count wood box similar to the one pictured.
