Prices of products made by Oliva Family of Cigars will be increasing slightly next month. The company has announced that all products in its portfolio, except Cain-branded items, will be increasing 2.5 percent effective March 1. A letter to retailers indicated that increased labor, raw material and shipping costs are behind the move. In addition, the company has increased the minimum amount of boxes retailers must purchase to qualify for free shipping. Last year the company raised prices 2.5 percent on Serie G and Serie O, 5 percent on Connecticut Reserve and Serie V and $2 per bundle on Flor de Oliva. It did not raise prices on Cain or NUb and did not raise prices in 2013. A representative for Oliva declined to comment.
