It’s well known that while cigars in Habanos S.A.’s Edición Regional are supposed to show up between August and October, that’s not always the case. One of those cigars whose arrival was supposed to be in 2014 became the first in the series to be released in 2015, as the La Casa del Habano in Milan announced on Sunday morning that the Ramón Allones Short Perfectos is now available. The cigar is a 5 x 50 petit pirámides, with 5,000 ten-count boxes produced for this release. Pricing is set at €105 per box, or about US$124.37. As has been the case with other Italian regionals, it will be a challenge for those outside the country to get their hands on the cigar as it is illegal to ship tobacco products out of the country. There are still quite a few Edición Regionals scheduled for a 2014 release that have yet to hit stores, including the Sancho Panza Eslavo for Serbia, the Saint Luis Rey Inca for Peru and the La Flor de Cano Siboney for Canada.
