Zander-Greg has released the cigar crafted in celebration of Nat Cicco’s 50th anniversary, the HHB Gold. The line is a revamp of the existing HHB line, which was launched in 2012. For the 50th anniversary release, the HHB Gold gets new packaging, a new band, larger sizes and a 25% price reduction. The blend for this release uses an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler, and now comes in 7 3/4 x 54, 5 1/4 x 56 and 6 3/4 x 58 vitolas. Each size comes in ten-count Spanish cedar boxes with a black piano-finish. The price has also dropped to $7, down from the original $10 MSRP which was announced at the 2014 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show. Via a press release, the company said that the savings and larger sizes offer extra value to the smoker, making the HHB Gold a super-premium cigar at boutique pricing. The Nat Cicco line debuted in 1965.
