Matt Booth will once again be in Houston to attend STOGIES World Class Cigars’ annual Christmas party, which will also serve as the launch of the Room101 Uncle Lee. In October, Room101 announced and briefly began taking orders for its latest cigar, Uncle Lee, a tribute to Booth’s uncle, the man who introduced him to cigars. Less than 24 hours after Davidoff, who makes and distributes Room101’s cigars, began taking orders, the company made the decision to place the project on an indefinite hold due to negative feedback regarding the outermost packaging, which mimicked a cereal box. While Davidoff and Room101 both remained relatively mum on the future of Uncle Lee, the cigars for the project had already been rolled, making it hard to scrap the entire project as a whole. Gone is the cereal box shell, meaning the wooden box will now be exposed. In addition, the decorative tissue paper has been changed to better reflect the updated theme of the release.
