The latest Singularé from Illusione is on its way to stores. Dion Giolito of Illusione announced that Singularé 2014 Anunnaki (5 1/4 x 54) is now shipping to retailers. It marks the fifth release in the company’s annual limited edition series since the 2010 Phantom. Like the 2011-2013 editions, Singularé 2014 is made at Tabacos Valle de Jalapa S.A. (TABSA) in Estelí, Nicaragua. Anunnaki refers to a group of gods in ancient Mesopotamia. It uses a mix of tobaccos from AGANORSA’s Nicaraguan farms, including fillers from the Chilamate farm, one that Giolito has become increasingly fond of in recent years. As for the binder, it’s Nicaraguan criollo 98 tobaccos from Jalapa and corojo 99 from Estelí all wrapped underneath the Nicaraguan corojo 99 wrapper found on the company’s Epernay line. On Instagram, Giolito indicated that two rollers were responsible for the production of all 30,000 cigars. Production is limited to 2,000 boxes, slightly up from the estimate Giolito gave halfwheel at the 2014 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show. Pricing remains at $13 per cigar or $195 per box of 15.
