Tarazona Cigars Ships Revamped Revolution 305

Tarazona Cigars has begun shipping of the revamped version of the Revolution 305 cigar, a line that made its debut at the 2013 IPCPR Convention and Trade Show but has since moved production from Cubanacan’s factory to Noel Rojas’ Tabacalera Aromas de Jalapa. Tarazona shared the news via his social media channels on Thursday morning: While the new version looks and feels largely the same, Eddie Tarazona said he considers it a new line after Rojas made a few subtle tweaks to the blend, including going to a higher grade Ecuadorian habano maduro wrapper that is a bit thicker than the one on the line’s initial release. The percentage of ligero in the blend has also been changed just a bit, though Tarazona said the cigar maintains the same medium-full characteristics as the original, praising the changes that Rojas made, saying that “Noel is very old school and reminds me of the real old school Cubans, he is very impressive and got me precisely what I wanted out of this line.” He said the reworked blend is much cleaner, slightly bolder and richer while getting rid of the bite that was found on the previous version.
