Emilio was one of a handful of manufacturers whose IPCPR trade show offerings included products that had been previously announced and significantly delayed. For Gary Griffith, that included the long-awaited Emilio Carpe Noctem and Mia Dora. The important part is that Griffith seems motivated to release the cigars once they are ready, which means Carpe Noctem then Mia Dora. While it might make the booth less exciting because there are not any completely new items, it should make the cigars better. According to Nate McIntyre, national sales director for House of Emilio, the Nicaraguan ligero in the filler blend produces the strongest cigar in the Emilio portfolio. The Tabacalera Fernandez S.A.-produced cigar is made in three sizes: Robusto (5 x 50, $9.20), Toro (6 x 50, $9.50) and 60 (6 x 60, $9.90).
