My Father Cigars kept its new release list fairly tight this year, with the My Father Connecticut the only true “new” cigar from the company. The cigar is being released in four sizes: a 5 ¼ x 52 robusto, 6 ½ x 54 toro, 6 x 60 toro gordo and 6 x 48 Corona Gorda, with price points between $7.30-$9.40. It starts with the familiar My Father presentation but adds an interesting black and orange color scheme that really makes the colors come alive. Additionally, there are several different naming conventions on the box, but the company says it is simply the My Father Connecticut. While not quite new, My Father’s La Antiguidad line was also getting a fair amount of attention in the center of the booth. Beyond that, there are no announced plans to put out any limited editions in the foreseeable future, both to give these two new lines time to establish themselves, and also because the company has been busy with a number of other projects.
